Headless frontend for Norce Commerce

Frntkey is the recommended frontend in the Norce Jetshop migration program. It ships a complete Vue and Nuxt storefront on top of Norce, with the integration set Nordic merchants actually need pre-wired and ready to activate.

Norce Commerce is the API-first commerce engine behind a large share of Nordic B2B and B2C merchants. Frntkey is the productized frontend built for it — covering the full storefront surface, connecting to the Norce APIs natively, and shipping with Storyblok, Klarna, Walley, Voyado, and the rest of the Nordic stack already integrated.

  • Norce-native data adapters
  • B2B and D2C in one codebase
  • Full Nordic integration set

Benefits

Native Norce connection

Frntkey's data adapters are built specifically for the Norce Commerce API. Product catalog, pricing, inventory, cart, checkout, account, and order history all connect through purpose-built adapters. No generic middleware layer sitting between the storefront and your commerce data.

B2B ready out of the box

Logged-in B2B mode ships in the baseline. Customer-specific price lists, invoice payment, order history, re-order from history, quickorder, and shopping lists are all included. B2B and D2C can run on the same Frntkey instance against the same Norce backend.

Nordic integration set pre-wired

Klarna, Walley, Kustom, and Svea for payment. Ingrid and Norce Checkout shipping for delivery. Voyado, Rule, and Klaviyo for CRM. Hello Retail and Meilisearch for search. Lipscore for reviews. Retain24 and Awardit for gift cards. Every integration ships configured and ready to activate per project.

Jetshop migration path

Frntkey is the recommended frontend in the Norce Jetshop migration program. Teams migrating from Jetshop to Norce get a structured delivery path, a storefront that already knows Norce's data model, and a migration checklist covering 301 redirects, SEO continuity, and B2B configuration.

What Norce Commerce is

Norce is an API-first commerce engine built for Nordic B2B and B2C merchants. It owns the product catalog, pricing logic, inventory, cart, checkout, orders, and customer accounts. It does not own the storefront. The frontend connects via the Norce Commerce API and renders the shopping experience independently.

Norce's strength is in complex Nordic commerce requirements: multi-market pricing, customer-specific price lists, B2B account hierarchies, and deep integration with Nordic ERP and logistics systems. It is the backend of choice for mid-market and enterprise Nordic merchants who need flexibility beyond what Shopify or a monolithic platform allows.

Where Frntkey fits

Frntkey is a frontend-as-a-service built specifically for Norce Commerce as its primary backend. The storefront is a Nuxt.js and Vue.js application that reads from the Norce Commerce API through purpose-built adapters. Storyblok ships bundled as the CMS. Hosting runs on Vercel.

The result is a complete headless architecture: Norce owns commerce, Storyblok owns content, Vercel serves the frontend, and Frntkey is the application that ties them together. Each layer is independent. Each can be updated or replaced without rebuilding the others.

What Frntkey ships for Norce

The Frntkey storefront covers the full page set a Norce merchant needs:

  • Core pages: Home, category listing, product detail, cart, checkout, search results, account, order history.
  • B2B pages: Logged-in mode, customer price list display, invoice payment, re-order, quickorder, shopping lists.
  • CMS pages: Landing pages, campaign pages, blog, and any marketing content — all managed in Storyblok by editors without developer involvement.
  • SEO foundations: Server-side rendering on all pages, structured data, Open Graph, canonical links, automatic image optimization. Core Web Vitals green at launch.

Pre-installed integrations

Every Frntkey for Norce project activates from the same pre-integrated baseline:

  • Payment: Klarna, Walley, Kustom, Svea, Vipps/MobilePay
  • Shipping: Norce Checkout (Ingrid), nShift
  • Search: Meilisearch (default), Hello Retail, Frntkey AI Search (add-on)
  • CRM: Voyado, Klaviyo, Rule (via GTM)
  • Reviews: Lipscore
  • Gift cards: Retain24, Awardit
  • Analytics: GA4, GTM, Meta Pixel, Cookiebot

Each integration is configured per project. Not every merchant activates every service — the baseline ensures the integration work is already done when you need it.

The Jetshop migration path

Frntkey is the recommended frontend in Norce's Jetshop migration program. Norce merchants moving off the legacy Jetshop frontend get a structured delivery path that covers:

  • URL mapping and 301 redirect configuration
  • SEO continuity — meta, canonical, structured data carried forward
  • B2B configuration if the Jetshop store had B2B functionality
  • Voyado and other CRM integrations where active
  • Storyblok content migration from the Jetshop CMS

Most Jetshop to Norce migrations on Frntkey complete in 6 to 12 weeks. The delivery is handled by Nordic Web Team.

When Frntkey for Norce is the right fit

Frntkey is the right choice for a Norce project when the storefront requirements are serious but not so distinctive that a productized frontend would have to be rebuilt anyway. Most B2B and D2C merchants on Norce fall into this range: they need a fast, well-built storefront with the Nordic integration set, reliable B2B flows, and a CMS their team can use — but they do not need to invent the product listing page from scratch.

If the project has highly unusual checkout logic, a non-standard B2B workflow that Frntkey does not cover, or a storefront experience so distinctive that a packaged frontend constrains it, a fully custom build on Alokai or a bespoke Nuxt application is the more honest recommendation.
